Tiree Images > Other Collections > Milton & Caoles Broch
Milton, a small cluster of houses around sheltered inlets, lies at the south east corner of Tiree. The little harbour here has been recently rebuilt with improved facilities and is used as a base for local lobster fishing. Catch from Scotland finds its way to Europe's finest restaurants. Above Milton rises the 2000year old broch of Dun Mor Caolas. The hilltop affords excellent views across to Mull and to the west along the south coast of Tiree over Ruaig and Gott Bay to Scarinish and beyond. These images are strictly copyright.
