Isle of Tiree Photos > Other Collections > Transport links to Tiree
The Isle of Tiree is the most westerly of the Inner Hebrides lying on the fringe of the Atlantic beyond the Isle of Mull. Tiree can be reached by CalMac ferry from Oban or Logan Air flight from Glasgow. The ferry lands at the Pier in Gott Bay and run daily in summer and three times weekly in winter. During the summer there is a Thursday ferry to and from Barra. The flight arrives at Tiree Airport and operates daily Monday to Saturday throughout the year. Tiree has a network of mainly single track roads connecting Hynish, Balephuil, Sandaig and Balevullin in the west and Caolas at the east end of the island to the main townships of Scarinish and Crossapol in the centre.
