Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Ferry Trip from Oban, an Isle of Tiree photo
Tiree, Scotland - Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Ferry Trip from Oban

Balemartine from Ben Hynish

Ardnamurchan and it's famous lighthouse marks the most westerly point on mainland Britain. The lighthouse was completed in 1849 by Alan Stevenson 5 years after he completed Skerryvore Lighthouse.

The island of Tiree is located off the Scottish west coast. It is the most westerly of the Inner Hebrides. Wide expanses of clean sand, the wide variety of wild flowers, traditional Hebridean architecture and relaxed atmosphere has become a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. To explore further visit the trip from Oban.
